Coming this Sunday is the release of our first book outside of the CRIS DE NIRO universe. JOSHUA'S COUNTRY is a modern War Western that answers the question, "What happens when an Islamic terrorist's hate for America faces an old cowboy's love for his grandson?"

Yet, JOSHUA'S COUNTRY became less a war story or terrorist tale than a story of a man's disillusionment with his country and dysfunctional relationship with his family. Joshua is a prideful man that paid a painful price for that pride.

About Gerard de Marigny

Gerard de Marigny is an American novelist and screenplay writer. His newest release is WHITE WIDOW (Cris De Niro, Book 7) and he is currently writing the sequel to the Amazon-Bestselling Modern War Western, JOSHUA'S COUNTRY.

Since his 2011 inaugural publication of THE WATCHMAN OF EPHRAIM (CRIS DE NIRO, Book 1), Mr. de Marigny has independently published seven CRIS DE NIRO novels and two novellas, along with JOSHUA’S COUNTRY.

The Cris De Niro series is set in the days and years following September 11, 2001 when a non-governmental based counter-terrorism firm is formed to respond to crises born from a variety of modern geopolitical events. The series of books resonate with espionage, sub-genre fiction readers from around the world.

In 2014, the famed Creator/Producer of the iconic MacGyver and Stargate SG-1 television series contacted Gerard after reading and loving THE WATCHMAN OF EPHRAIM (Cris De Niro, Book 1). de Marigny and Greenburg formed CDN Films to write and produce screenplays based on the novels in the CRIS DE NIRO series. The first screenplay, CRIS DE NIRO: THE WATCHMAN OF EPHRAIM is now under consideration and Legendary Entertainment.

Prior to his writing career, Gerard worked in the financial services industry, and prior to that, he wrote, recorded and produced music for other artists, for television and was a member of the rock band, Americade. He is a graduate of Penn State University. Gerard and his wife Lisa live in the foothills of Las Vegas, Nevada with their two cats, Nalah and Katya. They have four sons, Jared, Ryan, Jordan, and Noah.
