I was turned onto the idea of conducting a blog tour from great author and friend, Jeff Bennington, who was kind enough to write a guest blog at my SelfPubber's Pub a week ago. You can read it here - "Building Your Own Blog Tour." Many thanks again to Jeff for teaching us all how to create our own blog tours and for giving us some point-on advice! I can tell you from my experience setting up my own blog tour ... his advice was ACCURATE on all counts!
I'm going to post an article (or more) about my experiences - good and bad with TWOE PATRIOT Blog Tour, including the results I get from it. In order to post results though, I may have to post more than one article about it, as some of the results won't be instantaneous.
At the end of the day though, I hope to give you an clear idea of what you can expect if you want to set up your own blog tour.
I'll tell you this ... it ain't like my own heavy metal days, where a tour meant sleeping on a bus from 2am to 2pm then rolling out of bed and hanging out (usually bending an arm with friends) until sound check.
Blog Tours take a good deal of effort to pull off correctly and in order to get the most out of them, while offering the most to the folks.
Back to it ...
